What did our Director of Education, Jackie Marcincavage think of the experience at New York Fashion Week?

“We were very fortunate to get invited by celebrity stylist Ron King to work with his team at Fashion Week in New York at the Supima Cotton Design Show.  The show was endorsed by Rachel Zoe (Celebrity Stylist/Designer). Joining us were other L’Oreal Professional Hair Stylists from California and Texas, including MAC Cosmetics Lead Makeup Artist from France.

It was a rush being in “The Tent”. This experience exceeded all of our expectations. Participating in NYFW is something most hairstylists only dream of doing, well for the four of us at Lords and Ladies we got to live our dream. We were able to receive this prestigious invite because Lords and Ladies has built up a great reputation throughout our industry. We dedicate ourselves to Education… and it shows!

While in New York we were also invited by Ron King to attend a Photo Shoot with Sergio, the Celestino Couture Designer. To watch photo shoots on television is certainly not the same. The studio and experience was amazing! All the hair was done using 100% Human Hair Wigs, all colored with INOA, exclusive to Lords & Ladies in the Berks and Montgomery County area. The tips and tricks from Editorial Shoot were note worthy. We feel very blessed to be included in such an amazing shoot.

So our arsenal belt’s are fully loaded…..time to share with the rest of our staff. And it didn’t take long to do that. Our in salon classes are every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so the tips and tricks were taught this week during a Finishing Class.
