Brow Lamination Perkiomenville, PA
Brow lamination completely restructures the hair to give you a fluffy, bushy, brushed-up look without effort. Judging from the number of TikTok videos about it, there’s no doubt it’s here to stay. It’s thus no surprise to see it being offered in almost every salon in Perkiomenville, PA.
But is it the right treatment for you?
Gorgeous brows frame your face, enhance your eyes, and can boost your confidence. However, if you get a bad brow job, you’ll have to make do with it for about three to four weeks because that’s how long it takes before they regrow. Avoid this scenario at all costs by choosing a trustworthy, experienced, and reliable salon.
Here’s what to expect from your brow lamination treatment…

Rundown on Brow Texturizing Treatment
Brow lamination gives you fuller, fluffier, feathery brows. It’s perfect for almost anyone, but it works best on those with thin or sparse brows. It’s also good for filling in bald spots that occurred from over-plucking.
The Procedure
To prepare for the procedure, avoid anti-aging treatments like retinoids and any sort of exfoliation a couple of weeks before the treatment. They can make the area sensitive and more susceptible to redness and inflammation.
When you go to the salon, the brow tech will do a patch test to eliminate risks of irritation. If you’re all clear, they’ll go in with a lifting lotion to break the bonds in the strands, covering them up with cling film to make them easy to manipulate. Then, they’ll “set” the style with a neutralizer and apply a layer of oil for hydration. You can ask for more tint if you prefer more defined, thicker-looking brows.
To enjoy the results for as long as possible, keep your brows dry for at least 24 hours after the procedure. That means no exercise, steam, or baths. Also, don’t use skincare and makeup products for 72 hours to allow your hair to settle in nicely in its new direction. After the 72 hours, you can use a moisturizing oil or cream to keep your brows from drying out.
How Long Does It Last?
This perming treatment is good for six to eight weeks. You can get them redone once your hair grows back. But try not to overdo it since over-processed brows can become damaged over time.
Who Aren’t Good Candidates for Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination isn’t suitable for those with sensitive skin, skin conditions like rosacea and eczema, and those with a family history of contact dermatitis. Also, if you’re pregnant, we suggest you consult your doctor before scheduling an appointment.
