The Lords and Ladies Pottstown Salon is our first location. It was a historic Victorian home, built in 1884, which we purchased one hundred years later. We left the period dÃ©cor, in most instances, and designed the Salon to uniquely combine modern technology and convenience with old world charm. We now have one Esthetician, one Massage Therapist, and 26 Hairstylists at the Salon.

Since then, our family-owned business, founded in 1984, has expanded to a total of seven Salons, four locations in Berks County and three in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

How Botox ® Works

Overactive facial muscles are the cause of our superficial crow's feet, laugh/frown lines, and wrinkles. Botox ® Cosmetic, a brand of botulinum toxin approved by the FDA, relaxes these muscles when injected into them. The targeted facial muscles are temporarily immobilized to stop their contractions, and you enjoy a more youthful appearance.

Experienced and trained professionals must administer the Botox ® injections. At Lords and Ladies Salon & Medical Spa, the Registered Nurse Injectors have been specifically trained to know which muscles should be relaxed and which ones should be left to function naturally. They will target the target muscles and leave the others so that you can move your face naturally and show your normal expressions, with a more relaxed look.

Anesthesia is not required and the Botox ® treatment doesn't last more than a few minutes. There is little to no discomfort as it is injected with a micro needle into the muscles. Full effects occur after seven to ten days, but you should notice a change in 24-72 hours.

These effects will last somewhere between three and six months. But, the results are different for everyone. Eventually, they will wear off, and you will notice that your wrinkles and fine lines are returning. This is why we suggest scheduling regular Botox ® treatments every three months for maintenance purposes. Potentially, you could repeat this process indefinitely.
