Hair stylists should be experts in their field. Ours certainly are, and there are some things they wish future clients knew prior to sitting down in their chairs:

Do your research. Our stylists are up to date on all the trends and techniques, but they are not mind readers. They cannot decide what haircut, style, or color you want. So, before you come in, do some research and find a photo that shows the styling, color, and cut you desire.
Be realistic. We find that a lot of people bring us photos of people with completely different hair textures. While you may like a cut on someone with straight hair, if you have curly hair, it simply isn't going to look the same on you. Or, if your face is square and someone else's is oval, the look will have a very different effect. Consider the tone of your skin and your complexion as well when you are choosing a cut, style, or color for yourself.
Trust us. We understand that opting for a big style change can be terrifying. But, if you trust us, we assure you that we will do everything possible to help you look and feel your best. We'd prefer you not bring in how-to videos or micromanage our techniques. The stylists at Lords & Ladies attend regular expert trainings from top companies and professional brands.
