Hair Color Trends of 2019
Hair color trends come and go, but it is always easy to tell which ones are at the forefront of style and beauty. Social media offers us an easy way to see which gorgeous shades are taking over at any given time. So, here are the hues we believe represent the hair color trends of 2019:
- Orange- This is probably the strangest color preference we have seen this year. But, if you want to go with a very bold look, and have the confidence to back it, orange could be just what you've been seeking. We do advise discussing this option with your colorist to ensure it complements your natural skin tone.
- Honey Rose- A mix of blonde and strawberry copper is really popular now. Trying out a gloss before completely committing to this color is ideal. After all, you want to make sure it looks just as glamorous against your skin as it does on the models and actresses wearing it.
- Caramel Latte- Mixing butter blonde and ash while swirling in hues of brown allows this balayage technique to provide you with incredible color results. Plus, balayage designs give your hair color that is low-maintenance.
- Hollywood Opalescence- Going with an opal color allows your hair to fade at a more graceful rate. It is important that your stylist ensure that there's not too much yellow left, and that your hair has reached a super light blonde height.
- Platinum- Some are calling this antique gold; regardless, this combination of cool and warm hues creates a champagne color that is stunning. Bear in mind that purple shampoos are required to keep this color from becoming too brassy.
- Peach- With the right skin tone, this color can brighten your entire face. But, if you're a little nervous about going this color all over, we find that it works well when placed in strands in both blonde and light-brown hair.
- Blackberry- The trend for this color started in 2017 but with some adjustments for this year, it seems like it might stick around. Adding some blue to the purple tones provides much needed dimension. Those of you with dark hair can really rock this color trend.
Of course, the ever popular dark blonde, brunette, and rich ombres are safe go-tos for those of you who aren't ready for an extreme makeover. You will still be stylish, just less obviously so.
So, those are the hair color ideas the hair care specialists at Lords & Ladies Salon and Medical Spa are recommending this year. If you like one, feel free to schedule a consultation online. Or, if you're still not sure which look is right for you, our experts can give you all the advice you need at (844)725 6655.
