Our Pottstown Salon is the location of the very first Lords and Ladies Salon & Medical Spa, which opened its doors in 1984. The building is historic, built in 1884, and was a Victorian home owned by the proprietors of the original Pottstown Foundry and Supply.

Where will the massage take place?

A quiet room that is warm and comfortable is where your massage session will take place. To help you relax, soft music might be played. You will lie on a massage table that has been specifically designed for client comfort.

How long will it last?

Lords and Ladies Salon & Medical Spa offers several different options for the length of your massage. A 30-minute massage is adequate for either your legs and feet, back, or neck and shoulders. Average full-body massages last about an hour. For maximum relaxation, most people opt for a 60- to 90-minute massage.

What should I do during the massage?

Our best advice is, get comfortable! If your position needs to be changed, the therapist will either move you or ask you to move what is needed. Some people prefer to talk during a session but others relax and close their eyes the whole time. It's your choice. Feel free to ask your therapist questions, and ask the therapist to pause the massage, or stop it entirely if anything makes you feel uncomfortable.

What if I fall asleep?

During a relaxing massage, it is common for people to go to sleep. Don't force yourself to stay awake. Enjoy the experience!
