Nail Salons in Sinking Spring, PA

On the lookout for great nail salons in Sinking Spring, PA? Look no further than the Lords & Ladies Salon and Medical Spa located there at 4912 Penn Avenue.

We are honored to have had the opportunity to restore and preserve a piece of Berks County history with our Lords & Ladies' Sinking Spring location. The property, known as the Hain/Krick House, was named after Anna Marie Hain, the first owner, and William Krick, the second owner.

This beautiful old farmhouse was built in 1700. We've preserved most of the original aesthetics by restoring the original limestone walls, wood floors, and fireplaces. If you look closely while checking in at the front desk, there are roman numeral dates and initials carved into the reclaimed wood from the attic!

These little touches are what make this building so special. The Sinking Spring location has an incredible amount of charm combined with our signature modern updates and provides a truly unique experience. Stop by and see what we've done with the place!

Secrets Your Nail Technicians Wish You Knew

Nail Salons in Sinking Spring, PAThough these secrets may have remained in your Nail Technician's mind for quite some time, our experts want you to know because these tips will be great for the next time you visit your favorite salon, especially a Lords & Ladies salon:

  • You should regularly exfoliate your cuticles. This is particularly true if you experience dry skin. Thankfully, you don't have to wait until our experts do it for you. Use a washcloth while you are in the shower to push back and rub your cuticles in a circular motion. The damp shower air will soften your cuticles making them easier to clean and to remove the dead skin.
  • Don't clip your nails before you go to your appointment. Your professional knows the right length and method of clipping your nails for the manicure you are seeking. We all have a tendency, when we do it ourselves, to cut them crooked or too short. This makes them less attractive and can even lead to infections.
  • You can use A&D ointment to make the manicure last longer. Sure, we want you to purchase our salon grade products. But we also want you to enjoy your manicure as long as possible. So, add some A&D ointment cream to the cuticles to keep them soft. You only need a little because it is a super-rich cream.
  • Don't choose the newbie on staff. If you can, pick someone who is seasoned and experienced. You want a great manicure or pedicure and that means having someone who is knowledgeable and confident.
  • Some patterns and trends will make your hands look old. You need to take into account what your hands look like before you opt for that trendy new style. Older looking hands are better suited with neutral colors and a short, round shape. This keeps the attention away from the age of your hands.
  • Have something in mind before you sit down. We don't want to waste our time or yours waiting thirty minutes for you to choose a color. Come with some idea in mind, bring a picture if you need to.
